Terms and conditions

The agreement is formed when the client accepts Visio's quote in writing, for example by email. The quote sets out the scope, price and estimated timeline of the service.

• Prices exclude VAT (VAT 0 %). VAT is added according to the law in force at the time.
• Projects are usually invoiced 50 % before the project starts and 50 % before launch.
• The website or online store is published once the final payment has been made.
• Invoices are payable within 14 days net unless the invoice states otherwise.
• Additional work beyond the agreed scope costs €85 per hour (excl. VAT). Additional work is agreed with the client before it begins.

The project price includes two revision rounds. Changes after that are invoiced as additional work at €85 per hour (excl. VAT). We do not promise unlimited revisions.

The timeline assumes the client provides the necessary materials and feedback as agreed. If materials or feedback are delayed, the project timeline moves accordingly.

If the client is not happy with the result, we refund all payments made for the project. In that case the website or online store is not published.

• The client may supply the website copy. Visio may edit it to suit the website.
• The client supplies photos. If there are none, Visio uses edited stock photos or creates custom graphics.
• The client is responsible for having the right to use the material it supplies, such as copy, images and logos.

Once the project has been paid in full, the client owns the design, code and images produced for the project. Third-party licences, such as fonts, plugins and stock images, follow their own licence terms.

• Website and e-commerce projects include the first year of maintenance.
• After the first year, maintenance renews automatically unless the client cancels it. If the client cancels, maintenance ends.
• Maintenance plans are Perus €149, Plus €249 and Pro €449 per month (excl. VAT).

WordPress sites run on Zoner or Seravo managed hosting, and other sites mostly on Vercel. Hosting services are subject to the providers' own terms, and the providers are responsible for infrastructure incidents.

We can arrange domains and email services at the client's request.

• Visio Partner is a monthly retainer with a three-month starting period.
• After the starting period the agreement continues month to month and can be cancelled with one month's notice.
• Unused hours are kept for three months.
• Extra hours beyond the plan cost €85 per hour (excl. VAT).
• The client owns all work and assets produced under the service.

Visio is liable only for direct damage caused by its own error. Visio's liability is limited to the price of the service that caused the damage. Visio is not liable for indirect damage, such as loss of revenue, or for disruptions in third-party services.

We process clients' personal data as described in our privacy policy.

The agreement is governed by Finnish law. The parties will first try to resolve any disagreement through negotiation. If that fails, disputes are settled in the District Court of Varsinais-Suomi (Southwest Finland).
